A Pennsylvania native, Greg moved south to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in English, and a certificate in professional writing. It was during Greg’s final year at UNCW that he first joined Shipman & Wright as an intern, thereafter working as a legal assistant until he left to attend the Wake Forest University School of Law.
Throughout law school, Greg focused on preparing himself for a career in litigation by taking courses in practical law, competing in moot court competitions, and taking part in WFU’s nationally recognized litigation clinic. Each summer, Greg returned to Wilmington to put his efforts towards helping the community, first as an intern with the local Legal Aid office, and then with the New Hanover and Brunswick County District Attorneys’ offices, where he successfully conducted his first jury trial to verdict.
After earning his law degree, Greg returned to Wilmington and rejoined Shipman & Wright to serve as the Director of Inquiries while awaiting admission to the state bar. Now a licensed attorney, Greg plans to focus his practice in the areas most affecting the people in the community, including family law, employment, landlord/tenant disputes, and general civil litigation.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys living at the beach, playing sports, and taking care of his dog.
