Tom Harvey is a fierce advocate for his clients and his community. As a Wilmington native and graduate of Laney High School, he works aggressively to support his hometown and its citizens. Tom’s career has included a diverse set of experiences — from managing the prestigious Maidstone Club in East Hampton, N.Y., to the study of international law at Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge, England — which equipped him with an expansive understanding of the legal world.
After earning his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Tom attended Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in Raleigh, NC. During law school, he honed his legal skills by serving in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s office, competing in the national negotiations team championships, and interning for both the Town of Cary and the Johnston County District Attorney’s office. These roles instilled in him the understanding of how legal work can affect the lives of individuals and communities, which fuels his mission of providing unyielding assistance to all his clients.
Tom returned to Wilmington after graduating law school, continuing his commitment to uplift his hometown and its people. In his current role, he is a dedicated attorney who offers energetic and passionate representation. Tom excels in achieving favorable outcomes for his clients in complex litigation across a wide array of subject matters. He was part of the legal team that recovered an unprecedented award of more than $100,000 from the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality.
