HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION LAW
Homeowners Association Law, or HOA Law, includes the creation of organizations and enforcement of their rules. The goal is to manage planned communities by maintaining the appearance and value of each unit, as well as the values of the overall community.
Most homeowners associations and condominiums oversee a common residential asset through a chosen Board of Directors. Membership in the association is mandatory upon the purchase of real estate situated within the planned community or condominium property. State laws, local bylaws, and organizational rules all affect the management of the community.
